Terms and Conditions
METRON Fitness is run by Niko, a personal trainer based in Melbourne, Victoria (ABN 64 782 217 674). These terms apply when you create an account or buy a membership. We've kept them as plain as we can. Please read the health and safety part properly.
Who can join
You need to be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract. One membership is for one person.
What you get
Two structured gym workouts every week, a strength day and a hypertrophy day, in your member area. A new week goes up every Monday. We may improve or change the workouts and the site over time, but the core of the membership stays the same.
Price and billing
- The membership costs $39 + GST ($42.90 total) a month, in Australian dollars.
- You pay by card through Stripe when you sign up, then automatically on the same date each month until you cancel.
- Stripe emails you a receipt and tax invoice for every payment.
- If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you. You can cancel before then if you don't want to pay the new price.
- If a payment fails, Stripe tries again over the following days and your workouts are paused until it goes through or you update your card.
Cancelling
Cancel anytime from Account > Subscription, or email nikos21pantoudis@gmail.com. No lock-in contract and no cancellation fee. You keep access until the end of the month you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Refunds
We don't refund part-months if you change your mind, but you keep access until your paid month ends.
Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If there's a major problem with the service, you're entitled to cancel and get a refund for the unused part, or compensation for the drop in value. Nothing in these terms takes away those rights.
Health and safety
Exercise has risks. The workouts are general fitness guidance for healthy adults. They aren't medical advice and aren't tailored to your personal health.
- Check with your doctor before you start if you have, or have had, any medical condition, injury or surgery, if you're pregnant, or if you're not sure exercise is safe for you. The Adult Pre-Exercise Screening System is a good place to start.
- Warm up, use good technique, and choose weights that suit you. If you're unsure how to do an exercise, ask a trainer at your gym.
- Stop straight away and get medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain or shortness of breath.
- Follow your gym's rules. Your gym is responsible for its equipment and facilities.
You take part voluntarily and are responsible for training within your own limits.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and don't share your login. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
Our workouts are ours
The workouts, text, photos and design on this site belong to METRON Fitness or the people who license them to us. You can use them for your own training. Please don't copy, share, sell or publish them.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any injury, loss or damage from using the workouts or the site, except where it's caused by our own negligence. Where the law lets us limit our liability for failing a consumer guarantee, it's limited to supplying the service again or paying you the cost of doing that.
Suspending or ending a membership
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing the workouts or not paying. If we ever stop running METRON, we'll give you notice and refund any time you've paid for but can't use.
Privacy
How we handle your information is covered in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change affects your membership, we'll email you before it applies. Keeping your membership after that means you accept the new terms.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
