Privacy Policy

METRON Fitness is run by Niko, a personal trainer based in Melbourne, Victoria (ABN 64 782 217 674). We collect as little about you as we can, we never sell it, and we handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Here's exactly what that means.

What we collect

  • Your account: name, email, phone number and password when you sign up. Your password is encrypted by our login provider. Nobody at METRON can see it.
  • Your membership: whether it's active, your billing dates and your payment history.
  • Payments: card details go straight to Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
  • Messages: anything you send through the contact form or by email (name, email, phone if you give it, and your message).
  • Site visits: anonymous page-view counts through Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived technical logs (like IP address and browser) for security.

Health information: we don't ask for it. If you choose to tell Niko about an injury or condition, it's only used to reply to you and is never shared.

How we use it

  • To run your account and give you access to your weekly workouts.
  • To take payments and send receipts and tax invoices.
  • To reply to your messages.
  • To send service emails you need, like confirming your email, password resets and billing notices.
  • To keep the site secure and work out what to improve.
  • To meet our legal and tax obligations.

We'll only send marketing emails if you've said yes, and every one will have an unsubscribe link, as the Spam Act 2003 requires.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run the site, and only what each one needs to do its job:

  • Supabase: accounts and our database.
  • Stripe: payments, receipts and billing.
  • Vercel: website hosting and cookie-free analytics.
  • Resend: sending account and notification emails.
  • Google: Niko's email inbox, where contact messages arrive.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): only if we measure our ads on this site, and only if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner.

We don't sell or rent your information to anyone. We'll only disclose it otherwise if the law requires us to.

Storage outside Australia

Some of these providers store or process data overseas, including in the United States. We choose providers with strong security and privacy practices. By using the site you consent to your information being handled this way.

Keeping it safe

The whole site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords are encrypted, member areas need a login, and only Niko can see member details. Card payments are handled by Stripe, which is certified to the PCI DSS security standard.

How long we keep it

We keep your account details while your account is open. After you close it we delete them within 90 days, except billing records, which the Australian Taxation Office requires us to keep for five years. Contact messages are kept for up to two years.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. Marketing cookies only load if you agree. The details are in our Cookie Policy, and you can change your choice anytime: .

Your rights

  • See or correct your details: most are on your profile page, or ask us for a copy of what we hold.
  • Delete your account: email nikos21pantoudis@gmail.com and we'll close it and remove your details (apart from the billing records we have to keep).
  • Say no to marketing: use the unsubscribe link or choose “Essentials only” for cookies.

Under 18s

Memberships are for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
